1. ”AAPSuD” Sensitize students and youths that might have lost hope, providing them public lecture as stress free management program.
2. ”AAPSuD” discourages any form of discrimination that perpetrate among ethnicity, regionalism, disabilities, sexism, religion is and political cause.
3. ”AAPSuD” Will stand in the capacity to preach peace and strengthen unanimity among youths and community at large.
4. “AAPSuD” Fostering gender equality by promoting girl child education minimization of early marriage and eradicate stereotypical belief in the society.
5. “AAPSuD” Ensuring the well being of students and youths through advocating, awareness raising and give support to the most vulnerable youths and students in the society.
6. “AAPSuD” integrate all students by organizing and participating in different extracurricular activities like social, cultural, Educational events and recreational programs amongst different learning fields in the nation.
7. “AAPSuD” assist in the personal development of youths through both formal training sessions and daily interaction in the areas of leadership, moral and values, clarification, social responsibility, self realization and interpersonal cooperation.
We, the students Ambassadors do hereby established this Organization in order that our purpose is realized to its fullest extent, providing closer cooperation with the educational field administrations, aspire to further academic excellence, independently students initiatives, and promote values of an open society, leadership and democracy.
This organization was formed by three students: Mohamed Abass Kanneh, Nuru Deen Will and Mustapha S. Conneh on Monday fifteen day of October in the year two thousand and twelve (15th October, 2012.) its was first called Koribondo Highway Students Union (KoHSU) 2012-2013 later changed to Academic Ambassadors for Peace and Development (AAPD) 2013-2018 in a town called Bo and finally members from different high schools now in different universities have the enthusiasm to take the organization to national level or higher height so that it can move or aim at the world Sustainable Development Goal's initiatives and it now a registered organization called Academic Ambassadors for Peace and Sustainable Development [AAPSuD] Sierra Leone.
We endeavor to prevent discrimination on any basis and enable fruitful collaboration within the schools, universities and outside of it, and to prepare ourselves for successful and inspiring future. This constitution as the rule of students self-governance is a legal binding document that sets out the activities and procedures of the Student’s Union Ambassadors.
